Media law firm Wiggin is delighted to announce its new partnership with the Online Dating Association (ODA).

The ODA was set up in 2013 by a number of online dating website owners who saw the need for the industry to take responsibility for setting and maintaining standards.  It counts within its members some of the main online dating websites, including eHarmony and match.com.

As part of the partnership, Wiggin will supply a hot line advice service, and ODA members will also be invited to attend the firm’s programme of events and register to receive their legal updates.

This will give ODA members access to the Wiggin’s full range of expertise, including data protection and other regulatory matters, commercial, corporate (sales/acquisitions/investments), intellectual property, trade marks and brand protection, tax, employment, property and litigation.

George Kidd, ODA Chief Executive said: “Over the last several months both the Association and our members have benefitted from the work we have been doing with Wiggin. This partnership will be very beneficial to our members.”

Shaun Lowde, partner and head of Wiggin’s technology practice, said: “We are delighted to partner with the ODA and provide support to their members on issues that affect their industry.”
