The Commission is working on an EU Toolbox against counterfeiting that aims to set out principles for coherent joint action, cooperation and data sharing among rights holders, intermediaries and law enforcement authorities. The Commission has now launched a call for evidence on the EU Toolbox against counterfeiting.

The Commission wants to ramp up its fight against piracy and counterfeits, from counterfeit goods misleading consumers and potentially putting their health and safety at risk, to companies losing sales and tax revenues. The call for evidence on the EU Toolbox aims to capture the views and opinions of all relevant public and private sector stakeholders in order to further develop and fine-tune the Toolbox.

The feedback tool will be open until 3 of March 2022. To access the call for evidence, click here.
