We’re delighted to announce that we have assisted Wine-Searcher on its sale to Flaviar Inc. Wine-Searcher is the world’s largest database of product, price and availability information across the global beverage alcohol market and combined with Flaviar will become a leading international operating system for beverage-alcohol e-commerce.

The Wiggin team was led by Corporate Partner, Ben Whitelock who was primarily supported by Clemency Barrett and assisted by a wider team of colleagues including Samantha Cheong, Mike Browne, Seth Roe and Natalie Brunsdon.

Rebecca Telford-Brown, director at the Wine-Searcher group, said “Ben Whitelock and Clem Barrett have been fantastic throughout the whole process and we couldn’t have got the deal done without them. Their ability to find a mid-ground where both sides walk away content was invaluable. I would very happily recommend them and Wiggin to anyone considering selling their content / technology business.”

Wiggin’s corporate practice has been involved in many significant deals in the media, entertainment and technology sector in recent years. As well as mergers and acquisitions, the team advises on a broad range of corporate and corporate finance matters, including investments, joint ventures and restructurings.
