Associate

Simone is an Associate in the Intellectual Property team where she qualified in October 2024. She primarily works on contentious matters, with a particular focus on copyright disputes.

“I act for clients across a range of industries in contentious intellectual property matters, with a focus on copyright law and trademarks. I have particular experience in anti-piracy matters, where I help clients navigate the complexities of online rights enforcement. I regularly assist clients in obtaining website blocking injunctions targeting copyright-infringing websites. My experience in the creative sector and my technical background allows me to provide effective and innovative solutions to challenges in online and offline IP matters.

I qualified as a lawyer at Wiggin in October 2024, but my journey into law started with a background in fine arts. I hold a bachelor’s degree (Fine Arts) from University College London and a master’s degree (Fine Arts) from the Royal College of Arts, where I developed a strong appreciation for intellectual property issues in the creative industries. Before transitioning into law, I worked as an investigative filmmaker and in media forensics, which provided me with unique skills that I now apply to my legal practice and contentious work.”

Simone is also a member of AIPPI and BLACA and has contributed to Entertainment Law Review.
