Jacqui has been part of the global entertainment industry for over twenty years, specialising in content licensing, multi-national corporate and regulatory projects and cutting edge deal making. 

“I’ve spent most of my career in house at two Major Studios, where I learned what really matters to production businesses, distribution businesses and in the mergers and acquisitions space as both a buyer and a seller.

I work in content sales and distribution, rights acquisition and across the regulatory compliance landscape. I’ve overseen and negotiated corporate transactions for a decade, including multiple network business acquisitions and sales, TV production transactions and the establishment and management of joint ventures.

Having provided legal support across EMEA and the Asia Pacific region, I’m used to dealing with the challenges of cross jurisdictional relationships, including contract negotiations (and renegotiations) and corporate matters. Whether negotiating a major output arrangement, setting up a new business or working through a regulatory compliance matter, I bring practical solutions underpinned by a deep knowledge of the legal issues affecting the entertainment sector.

The speed of evolution of the entertainment business and the technology that it uses continues to accelerate. In that context, my approach is to prioritise listening to clients to facilitate bespoke, efficient advice to suit their unique approach and values.”
